Neil Patrick Harris, has been tapped to host the Oscars

The closest thing the world has to an expert recompenses show host, Neil Patrick Harris, has been tapped to have the Oscars on Feb. 22, 2015, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences affirmed Wednesday.

"It is really a honor and a rush to be asked to have this present year's Academy Awards. I grew up viewing the Oscars and was constantly in such amazement of a portion of the greats who facilitated the show," Harris said in an announcement. "To be solicited to follow in the strides from Johnny Carson, Billy Crystal, Ellen Degeneres, and other people who had the extraordinary fortune of facilitating is a basin rundown dream work out."

Obviously, the previous How I Met Your Mother star is no more interesting to facilitating broadcast occasions that send performers home with new equipment. Harris has facilitated the Tony Awards four times (taking home Emmys for Outstanding Special Class Program each one time) and the Emmy Awards twice. In the wake of facilitating the Oscars, he'll just need to have the Grammys to be qualified for an additional uncommon EGOT.

Harris as of late finished a four-month run as Hedwig in the Broadway creation of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, for which he took home the 2014 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. What's more from what we know of his musical ability and recompenses facilitating history, we can presumably rely on a splashy opening number at the Oscars. It's simply excessively awful he effectively performed the best opening number in all of honors show history at the 2013 Tony Awards.
