Ranbir Kapoor is going ahead !

He is the youngest hero to have entered the 100-crore-club with his last release Barfi! And now, Ranbir Kapoor has decided to wisen up in money matters. Following Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and even Kareena Kapoor who had reportedly done the same, the 30-year-old actor has decided to adopt the ‘profit sharing’ model of remuneration.

And the first production that will have to share its profits with Ranbir is Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharm.According to sources, the actor will charge approximately 25 per cent of the film’s profit.

Trade analyst Amod Mehra confirmed the story saying, “Ranbir Kapoor is the latest entrant, he now works on profit sharing basis.”

Defending the actor’s decision, his friend told Mirror,“Ranbir doesn’t do movies for money. He is a product and everything has its value. But when he picks any subject to work upon, money is the last thing he wants to discuss.” Perhaps, his new decision is just to show off his new ‘big league’ status.
