Saoirse Ronan and Domhnall Gleeson are to star in period drama Brooklyn

The New York-conceived Irish performer will play a junior lady who comes back to her home nation of Ireland from Brooklyn after a family catastrophe throughout the early 1950s. As she more than once defers her come back to America, she soon ends up torn between two men and two nations.
