Perry, 48, asked Gilbert, 39, for her deliver marriage last April. Gilbert imparted the engagement news on her show "The Talk" a year ago.
She said the pair was having a sentimental cookout in a Los Angeles park when a road musical artist with a guitar started playing "Adoration Song."
Perry then hauled out an arrangement of T-shirts, each with the words "Will" "You" "Wed" "Me" and an inquiry mark.
On Monday's scene of "The Talk," co-has Aisha Tyler and Julie Chen informed the gathering of people concerning the huge wedding.
